This webinar will provide a brief overview of the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) approach to the identification of specific learning disabilities (SLD). The variation and comparison procedures available on the WJ IV™ will be reviewed in terms of their applicability to the PSW approach. Excerpts of case studies will be presented to demonstrate the strengths, weaknesses, and nuances of the variation and comparison procedures, highlighting important considerations for interpretation and diagnosis.
