Equity, Access, and Intervention

Tyrone and Jaleel Howard will engage in a thoughtful discussion around the elusive quest for educational equity. Speaking from a multigenerational perspective, the Howards will discuss their respective efforts, work, research, and advocacy for attaining high-quality education for all students, but in particular for the most vulnerable populations. By examining issues such as race, poverty, relationships, teaching, and learning, this interactive presentation between father and son is certain to generate thought-provoking discussions, ideas, and solutions about strategies for how schools can be more equitable, supportive, healing, and transformative spaces for all students.
