Development of Early Communication and Language Skills

The goal of language is development of competent communication skills. Successful language use requires rule learning and frequent opportunity for practice. This webinar will focus on language and communication skills from 0–5 years of age. These early years provide the foundation for communication, language and academic growth throughout childhood. Linguistic milestones and the role of language in the development of social and communicative competence will be discussed.
