Brenda Iasevoli is a lead copywriter at HMH. She has worked as an editor for TIME Magazine For Kids, a blogger for Education Week, and a freelance writer for The Hechinger Report. Her articles have appeared in newspapers and magazines across the country, including theatlantic.com, nbcnews.com, and The Washington Post. Before becoming a journalist, she was a fourth grade teacher in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. She holds a master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University.
