Building Communities
If you are a teacher who uses one of HMH’s programs, let’s work together to empower teachers to connect with each other, share expertise, and amplify innovative teaching happening every day.
Why Become an HMH Advocate?
Both HMH Ambassadors and Contributors act as education leaders in their own community and Teacher’s Corner. Here are the benefits:
- Extend your professional network
- Deliver live online professional learning and gain recognition as a leader
- Get sneak peeks into new program features and platform updates
- Impact other teachers’ implementations with tips, advice, and model lessons
- Grow your skills by learning from industry experts
- Be creative by developing resources in partnership with the Teacher’s Corner team
- Test new program features or join an advisory board
There Are Three Different Ways to Get Involved
HMH Ambassador
HMH Ambassadors are teachers with at least two years of proven success in implementing both HMH programs and high-yielding instructional routines. Ambassadors not only participate as a Contributor, but they also spread the word in and out of the HMH Community and Ed Platform.
Here are some examples of what Ambassadors do:
- Participate in development projects with HMH Product Development teams
- Deliver at Teacher’s Corner Virtual Conferences
- Present at a national conference, such as the International Literacy Association (ILA) Conference and Model Schools Conference
- Share their expertise and results in tutorial videos and blogs
HMH Contributor
Leveraging their daily use of Ed and ease of navigation on the platform, Teacher Contributors support answering questions, interact in both the Ed platform and HMH Community, and share artifacts and lesson plans. This group of teachers also facilitates Teacher Success Pathway sessions during peak seasons, such as Back-to-School, and live events, such as Model Lessons and Make and Takes throughout the year.
Here are some examples of what Contributors do:
- Answer questions in the HMH Facebook Community
- Contribute Program Support resources for Teacher’s Corner on Ed
- Share their lesson plans and My Stuff Lessons
- Post artifacts and program tips in the Community and on Ed
Community Expert
A Community Expert is any member of the Teacher’s Corner Facebook Group that engages in posts, spreads the word about new features on Ed and Live Events, uses provided resources to present at faculty or district meetings, and shares feedback with the HMH Facebook Community team.
We’d love to hear your ideas, too! Connect with us to become a part of the program.
