Assessment
Amira Learning® for Grades PreK–8 provides effective 1:1 reading tutoring that doubles student reading growth, a reading fluency assessment, and dyslexia risk screening in English and Spanish—from anywhere.
NWEA MAP Growth
MAP® Growth™ is a trusted, research-based assessment that measures achievement and growth in K–12 math, reading, language usage, and science. Serving more than 13 million students each year, it provides educators with reliable, actionable insights to inform instructional decisions and support students performing at, above, or below grade level.
Intervention & ELD
Built on over 25 years of research and grounded in the science of reading, Read 180® is an intensive reading intervention program that delivers a comprehensive path from phonics to fluency to grade-level proficiency for students in Grades 3–12 who are 1 or more years below grade level.
With NWEA® MAP® Growth™ integrated, educators can accurately place students and track progress over time. Whether supporting multilingual learners, students with disabilities, or those with foundational gaps, Read 180 provides adaptive technology, engaging content, and teacher-led instruction—all in a dedicated classroom setting that accelerates growth and builds confident, capable readers.
Read 180® Flex is a flexible, tech-enabled reading intervention program designed for students in Grades 3–12 who are reading below grade level. Built for use within the core classroom, it delivers personalized, adaptive instruction that meets students where they are—whether they need support with phonics, fluency, or comprehension. With NWEA® MAP® Growth™ integration, educators can accurately place students and monitor progress over time.
Math 180 is an intensive math intervention program for students in Grades 3 and above who are performing two or more years below grade level. Designed for use in a dedicated teacher-led intervention setting, it rebuilds foundational skills and accelerates students toward algebra readiness—often achieving two years of growth in just one school year. With NWEA® MAP® Growth™ integration, educators can pinpoint each student’s starting point and monitor progress with precision, ensuring instruction is targeted and impactful.
Math 180® Flex is a flexible math intervention program designed for students in Grades 3 and above who need additional support in mathematics. It is built to integrate seamlessly into core classroom instruction, providing targeted, standards-based support without requiring a separate intervention setting. Teachers can use NWEA® MAP® Growth™, included with their subscriptions, to place students and measure growth to set them on the path to grade-level proficiency, emphasizing foundational skills essential for success in Algebra 1.
English 3D is a comprehensive, teacher-led ELD curriculum that accelerates academic English acquisition for multilingual learners in Grades K–12. Built on Dr. Kate Kinsella’s research-based instructional routines, it develops proficiency across reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Aligned to all ELD frameworks, English 3D prepares students for ELP assessments and accelerates reclassification. With comprehensive teacher guidance and professional learning, educators at every experience level can implement with confidence and foster meaningful student outcomes.
Adaptive Practice

Waggle®, for ELA and math grades K–8, goes beyond adaptive learning to provide personalized practice and instruction. With its skill-based AI engine, Waggle offers real-time assessment of knowledge, enabling teachers to support the needs of all learners effectively.
HMH grant support
From state and local funding sources to federal entitlements, schools and districts have options to finance their school improvement efforts. HMH can provide sample descriptive language about our programs and services to assist you and your leadership team in completing the narrative section of your grant application.
