Renee Behring
Renee Behring is an Education Research Director overseeing core Literacy and early learning programs at HMH. Renee’s primary areas of focus include early learning and K-12 core literacy curriculum, as well as assessment for and of learning. She is committed to improving learning opportunities for all students through well-designed curriculum and assessment-based instructional supports. Prior to joining HMH, Renee worked as a teacher with children age 6 weeks to 5 years in various educational settings. In addition, Renee has extensive experience in program evaluation in public and private early learning centers and home-based programs. Renee holds an Ed.M. in Curriculum and Teaching, Early Childhood Education and an M.A. in Educational Psychology, Human Cognition and Learning from Teachers College, Columbia University. Renee also holds a B.A. in Human Development from California State University East Bay.
