Andrew Goldman

Andrew joined HMH in 2024 through the acquisition of Writable, where he was co-founder and CEO, leading business and product strategy. He now serves as the Executive Vice President of HMH Labs, a division of HMH focused on innovative product development through a cross-functional team model.

Andrew has a strong track record of founding and scaling education and technology ventures. Prior to Writable, he founded Subtext, Inc., a collaborative learning company acquired by Renaissance Learning. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and led Pandemic Studios, a top game development studio acquired by Electronic Arts.

He holds a BA in Political Science from Brown University and a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from NYU. A lifelong competitor, Andrew was a member of the U.S. Olympic sailing team in 1988.
