Eligible Entries.
In order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes on behalf of your school, you must be a legal resident of the United States, at least eighteen (18) years of age and an educator actively employed by a school at the time of entry. Employees of HMH, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to enter.

You must provide the name and address (physical or electronic) of your principal or other school administrator, so that HMH may notify such principal or administrator if you win the Prize on behalf of your school. You hereby grant permission to HMH to so notify such principal or administrator and to ship the Prize to your school, care of such principal or administrator. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes your consent to HMH’s use of your name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and state of residence, to the extent collected as part of the Sweepstakes, for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.

Agreement to Official Rules.
By entering the Sweepstakes, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, (i) these Official Rules and (ii) HMH’s decisions regarding the administration of this Sweepstakes and interpretation of these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects.

Entry and Drawing.
Sweepstakes tickets may be obtained in the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Booth at the 2023 NIEA Annual Convention & Trade Show. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Winners will be selected by random drawing by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt on October 19 and 20 from all eligible Sweepstakes tickets. Entries submitted after the Sweepstakes has closed will not be eligible. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.

The winner will be announced at the HMH booth at the 2023 NIEA Annual Convention & Trade Show. You do not need to be present to win. In the event the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or you or your school are otherwise unreachable using the contact information you provided, HMH reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner (to be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries), at its sole discretion. Failure to provide accurate and complete contact information for yourself and your school principal or school administrator, or failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification.

One 6-month classroom subscription to Waggle (each, a “Prize”) will be awarded. The Prize will be provided “as is” and does not include service of any kind. HMH is not responsible for any costs or expenses associated with using or maintaining the Prize. HMH reserves the right to substitute a Prize with one of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion.

General Conditions.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win; any purchases will not affect your odds of winning. HMH reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Failure by HMH to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. These Official Rules will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts without giving effect to conflict of laws principles. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless HMH, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any Prize and you waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
