Dr. Phil Vahey

Phil Vahey is the Director of Applied Learning Sciences at HMH. In this role, he provides guidance to ensure products are based on scientifically sound learning principles. He also leads the effort to connect HMH products through a common skills-based infrastructure. Before joining HMH, he was the Director of Strategic Research and Innovation at SRI Education, where he led more than $20M in educational research projects for foundations, federal agencies, and industry leaders. His projects focused on cross-institutional collaboration to create scalable solutions used by families, districts, and commercial clients.
