Patricia Starek, M.S.Ed., has been working both in and out of the classroom to support struggling learners for nearly 20 years. For the last 8 years she has worked for Scholastic and now HMH, first as an Implementation Manager for Professional Services and now as Development Director for the Intervention Solutions Group. She has consulted for the Children's Literacy Initiative in the Newark Public Schools and for All Kinds of Minds in the New York City Public Schools. She taught Middle School Special Education Students in the NYC Public schools, is a certified Orton-Gillinghan Therapist and holds a Masters in Special Education from Bank Street College of Education.
