Dr. Laura Ryan
Dr. Laura Ryan has served students from preschool through graduate school for more than thirty years as a classroom teacher, principal, school district administrator, and adjunct faculty member. Formerly the director of special education and most recently the administrator of interventions, she has worked to bridge the gap between special and general education. Her most recent work allowed her the opportunity to lead the successful, district-wide implementation of intensive literacy interventions and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Laura received her bachelor's degree in human development from the University of California, Davis, her master's degree in educational research and applications from the University of California, Berkeley, and her doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of LaVerne in California.
