Karen Cagle

Center for Model Schools, Instruction and Leadership Coach

Ms. Cagle served as an educator in the Troup County School District for 31 years prior to retiring in 2018. Her career in education includes experience as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, federal programs coordinator, and assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction, and professional learning. Ms. Cagle is experienced in leadership development, school/district improvement planning, curriculum development, instructional design, and stakeholder engagement. Since joining the Center for Model Schools in 2018, she has worked with districts across the United States to facilitate professional learning and provide individualized coaching. In addition to her expansive educational knowledge base, she is a known for her ability to build positive relationships with others. Ms. Cagle earned the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Auburn University, Master of Education from Auburn University, and Education Specialist in Leadership and Supervision from Troy University.
