Joanna Miral is an English major at Barnard College (Class of 2021) and currently a Content Marketing intern at HMH. Since October 2018, she has worked in Barnard’s Writing Center, where she has realized a passion for discovering nondirective ways of teaching writing. She is also the publicist for her school’s book club, Barnard Bookworms. Besides English, some of her favorite subjects are Classics and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In her spare time, Joanna reads and writes fiction, particularly fantasy, young adult, and literary fiction.
