Donna Pappas

Regional Consultant, HMH

Donna M. Pappas is an HMH regional consultant in central California. She just retired after 15 years as a READ 180/System 44 teacher at a Title I elementary school where she also oversaw the implementation of iRead and FASTT Math and all SAM programs for her school district.

In 2008, she was named a national READ 180 outstanding educator. She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture and construction and worked in construction management for 8.5 years before returning to school to earn a multiple subject teaching credential. She also has a master’s degree in reading and language arts and a reading specialist credential in the state of California.

In her free time, Donna tries to keep up with her performing arts family, serves on the board of the Family Wellness Ministry for the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco across the seven western states, and does public speaking engagements both solo and with her husband.
