Aoife Dempsey

Aoife has spent over 20 years in educational technology, focused on helping students achieve their learning goals in professional, higher ed, and K–12 environments. With the acquisition of Waggle, she joined HMH in 2019 as SVP Product Management in the Supplemental and Intervention group. She leads the development and strategy for the Waggle, Writable, Saxon Phonics and Spelling, Discrete, and Advanced and Electives portfolios.

Before joining HMH, Aoife was the founder and CEO of Waggle, a K–12 EdTech company providing award-winning adaptive learning solutions for teachers and students. Aoife also led the development and launch of market-leading education platforms in McGraw Hill and Wolters Kluwer.

A native of Ireland, Aoife holds a Bachelor of Arts from University College Cork and business studies from University College Dublin. She calls Brooklyn home, where she lives with her husband and 16-year-old son, Harry.
