Before becoming Principal of his alma mater, Farrington High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2010, Al Carganilla served for three years as Principal of Hokulani Elementary School, and prior to that spent 22 years working for the Department of Education. He has continued to live in the community since graduating from Farrington in 1986.
