This Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Evidence Base provides the research outlining the importance of SEL, its benefits on student achievement and learning, how SEL is effectively implemented and assessed within the classrooms, and supported through a systems approach. In addition, this research paper illustrates how SEL is incorporated throughout HMH’s programs and professional services.
