Educational Research Institute of America (ERIA) conducted a pretest-posttest study to assess the effectiveness of an instructional unit of the Science Dimensions program. This study took place from November 2016 to February 2017. This study included five teachers and 357 Grade 7 and 8 students from four different schools across three states. The student achievement growth results showed the average gain scores for the total group of 357 students in Grades 7 and 8 were statistically significant. In addition, the student achievement growth for the high-achieving and low-achieving students increased statistically significantly in both grades.
