Abstract

Educational Research Institute of America (ERIA) conducted an eight-week pretest-posttest study to understand the effectiveness of one unit of the Science Dimensions program. This study included 16 teachers and 270 Grade 2 students from eight different schools across three states. The scores for the low and high pretest scoring groups increased and were statistically significant. The average gain scores for the total group of 270 students were statistically significant. The student performance based on the unit was statistically significant.
