To examine the effectiveness of the Saxon Phonics and Spelling program, Harcourt-Achieve asked for voluntarily submitted case study data compiled from 12 schools across the eight states that had been implementing the Saxon Phonics and Spelling program for at least one school year. Across locations and program implementations, students participating in Saxon Phonics and Spelling demonstrated increased positive growth on standardized outcome measures.
