In addition to teaching, she also coaches cheerleading and golf, and is the leader of the Game Changers (school culture team). She loves to help her students become global citizens and has traveled with them to Europe, the Presidential Inauguration, and Australia! Michelle is the 2015 Troup County Teacher of the Year and a top 10 finalist for 2017 Georgia Teacher of the Year.
