Mark Townsend

Mark Townsend is a Learning Experience Design Manager at HMH. He brings his past experiences in secondary and post-secondary math education to this role to build experiences which connect students, teachers, and math to one another. Mark grew up in Austin, TX where he also taught high school math. He received his B.S. in Pure Mathematics and his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Austin, where he worked developing and coordinating a dual credit math course offered to hundreds of high schools across the state of Texas.
