Katherine Dowdell

Katherine Dowdell is Professor of Psychology at Des Moines Area Community College in Iowa, where she teaches courses in introduction to psychology, abnormal psychology, lifespan development, and social psychology. She also serves as District Chair of Behavioral Sciences. Professor Dowdell received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has also served as a development consultant for Wiley PLUS functionality, video content, instructional design, user experience, and faculty training.
