Joe Barry has completed 28 years in public education, having taught math for 15 years and sixth grade math for 10 years. At Hopkins Middle School, part of the public school system of Hopkins, Michigan, he is one of three math teachers and the only one teaching sixth grade math. Joe was the winner of HMH®’s Numeracy Counts sweepstakes and served as the Numeracy Counts Ambassador at the 2019 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Annual Meeting and Expo.
