Jamie Downey has over 16 years of expertise working with children and teachers in the field of education. Prior to joining HMH in 2014, Jamie spent 11 years in public education as a bilingual elementary teacher and campus and district administrator. Jamie is passionate about literacy and language acquisition and enjoys working with teachers and students whenever possible. In 2010, Jamie was named in the Who’s Who in American Education. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and running.
