Throughout his 25 years as an educator, Mr. Planas has held several administrative positions as Bridgeport’s Director of Mathematics, Principal, and Assistant Principal, as well as teacher and Numeracy Coach. He is involved in state and national committees involving SBAC assessments and Common Core, and has presented at state and national conferences through Connecticut’s Regional Educational Service Centers and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
