Eric Fredlund

Regional Consultant, HMH

Eric taught for 33 years in elementary schools as a self-contained and language arts teacher. Most of this time was spent in urban areas and at schools in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods. Eric instilled a belief in his students that they could achieve great things despite difficult circumstances. He taught his last few years in a hybrid/blending learning school, which helped prepare him for his work with HMH. He also coached high school baseball and football for more than 25 years.

Eric thrives on coaching teachers and students with HMH programs, providing constant support and encouragement. He loves still having a positive effect on the academic process.

Eric graduated from Spring Arbor University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s in education leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
