Duane Capizzi is a long-time animation geek, comic book nerd, film buff, rock snob, and Emmy award-winning writer/producer of TV animation for children. He specializes in smart, funny, character-driven action-adventure series, having developed, written and/or produced shows for Disney (Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Aladdin); Sony (Jackie Chan Adventures, Men In Black: The Animated Series, The Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot); Warner Bros (The Batman, Superman Doomsday); and Hasbro (Transformers Prime), among others. Yet, his enthusiasm knows no bounds for his latest and definitely greatest: the animated reboot of Carmen Sandiego for Netflix. He holds a BA in English Literature from UCLA, and lives in Los Angeles with his both of his muses: his wife Linnea and their cat Kenny.
