David Dickerman

David Dickerman is the Director of Product Management at HMH, leading strategy, innovation, and execution for HMH’s K–6 core reading portfolio. His work centers on advancing high-quality literacy instruction through engaging, standards-aligned curriculum and learning solutions that support both teachers and students. David is committed to improving access to strong literacy instruction for all learners regardless of background.

Prior to his current role, David led product strategy and development across multiple educational technology and assessment organizations, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital products that improve literacy outcomes. His experience spans product lifecycle management, user research, and the design of accessible learning experiences informed by data and educator insights. Earlier in his career, David worked directly with students and teachers as a literacy specialist and classroom educator, grounding his product leadership in practical instructional experience.

David holds M.S. Ed. degrees in General Childhood Education and Literacy from Bank Street College of Education and a B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University.
