Sponsor.

The Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company, 125 High Street, Boston, MA 02110 (“HMH”).

Eligible Entries.

In order to be eligible to enter the Contest, you must be a legal resident of the United States, at least eighteen (18) years of age and an educator actively employed by a school in Florida at the time of entry.   Employees of “closed” school districts that prohibit communications with vendors during a competitive solicitation are not eligible during the period of prohibited communication. Employees of HMH, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to enter.

If you win the Prize, you must provide the name and address (physical or electronic) of your principal or other school administrator, so that HMH may notify such principal or administrator regarding accepting the Prize on behalf of your school. You hereby grant permission to HMH to so notify such principal or administrator and to ship the Prize to your school, care of such principal or administrator. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes your consent to HMH’s use of your submission, as well as your image, name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and state of residence, to the extent collected as part of the Contest, for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.

Agreement to Official Rules.

By entering the Contest, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, (i) these Official Rules and (ii) HMH’s decisions regarding the administration of this Contest and interpretation of these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all respects.

Entry and Determination of Winning Entry.

Entrants will share a photo on Twitter showing how they help get students into learning in their classrooms using the dedicated hashtag. Only one entry per person will be accepted. The winner will be selected based on level of creativity and engagement as determined by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt after the Contest closes on September 28, 2018 at 11:59 pm Eastern time. Entries submitted after the Contest has closed will not be eligible.

Notification.

The winner will be announced on Twitter after the Contest closes on September 28, 2018. In the event the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or you or your school are otherwise unreachable using the contact information you provided, HMH reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner (to be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries), at its sole discretion. Failure to provide accurate and complete contact information for yourself and your school principal or school administrator, or failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification.

Prize.

One mini bookshelf of HMH trade books tailored to age range of winner’s students (the “Prize”) will be awarded. The Prize will be provided “as is” and does not include service of any kind. The prize is intended to be donated to the winner’s classroom for educational purposes, and not used for personal expenses. HMH is not responsible for any costs or expenses associated with using or maintaining the Prize. HMH makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the Prize, and disclaims any and all implied warranties related to such Prize to the maximum extent permitted by law. HMH reserves the right to substitute a Prize with one of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion.

General Conditions.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win; any purchases will not affect your odds of winning. HMH reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation.
