Splash into Pre-K
During the Convention, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will also introduce Splash into Pre-K, the new fully integrated, completely bilingual program designed to prepare children for success in pre-K and beyond.  Splash into Pre-K features Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline and Steve Spangler’s Science.  It introduces children to letters and sounds through a research based model called Alphafriends.  Splash Story Folders honor the importance of oral language and vocabulary development as key to learning in the Pre-K setting for both English and Spanish.   Mathematics is hands-on and activity based with the support of hundreds of manipulatives that lay the foundation for continued number success.
