Yap Shin Tze

Yap Shin Tze graduated from Nanyang Technological University with an honors degree in Accountancy and Finance. He is an experienced mathematics educator with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Over the last decade, Shin Tze has served frequently as a guest lecturer for a range of different organizations, speaking on various subjects, including statistical research.

In addition to teaching, Shin Tze has worked as an auditor-cum-analyst for one of the world’s largest public accounting firms. This role has allowed him to gain valuable insight into the application of statistical and probability theory in the real world. This has equipped Shin Tze well for writing learning materials that help students relate theory to real-world applications.

Shin Tze has also conducted many seminars on active learning and creative learning.
