Mary Lou McCloskey

Mary Lou McCloskey is Director of Teacher Education and Curriculum Development for Educo in Atlanta. She has taught learners K-12 and in undergraduate and graduate programs at Georgia State University, Emory University, and the University of Memphis. As a consultant in the field of English language education, she has worked with teachers, teacher educators, and departments and ministries of education throughout the United States and around the world. She is a former President of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She is the author and co-author of many journal articles, chapters, and professional texts for educators and has developed six programs for English learners. In Atlanta, she works with the Global Village Project, which serves refugees with interrupted education.
