Explore strategies and tools for teaching
and learning at a distance, in the classroom,
or both.

Help Them Learn Remotely

One thing we've learned over this past year is that distance learning can challenge our ability to connect meaningfully with students, hold them accountable for their work, and keep them engaged and learning from afar. Discover strategies that can help you keep your classroom humming along when you are not face to face. Our Virtual Classroom feature on our platform can help you stay connected.

Experiment with Blended Learning

Create a video or screen capture of yourself delivering instruction and have students review that lesson at home. Use your precious classroom time, then, for student-centered learning and discussion. Check out our Program Guide and Teacher's Corner online for specific tips and tools that you can use to get started with a blended-learning model.

Provide Offline Access to Your Students

Some students don't have internet access at home; they'll still be able to read and explore their library of Into Literature titles.

Support Whole-Class, Small-Group, and Independent Learning

The resources and tools in Into Literature are designed to be flexible: Use them to model concepts or close reading for the whole class. Or, you might assign practice in skills and standards to small groups or individuals. The Group function on our platform makes it easy to get resources to the students who need them most.
