End of Life and Transition Announcement for iRead
Starting December 31, 2021, HMH will no longer sell or make available new iRead licenses, except as contractually required. All current one year iRead licenses purchased in 2021 will expire on June 30, 2022.
HMH’s new Waggle K-8 offering will go live July 15, 2021 and will include many of the same lessons as iRead.

Out of Compliance Reading Counts!, Reading Inventory, and Phonics Inventory licenses are no longer accessible as of April 5, 2021.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and school closures, HMH extended hosting terms for all customers through December, 2020.
Customers with licenses without an active subscription or hosting plan do not have access to these programs and their student data as of April 5th.

MATH 180 Learn Zone Changes for Devices with Smaller Screens
HMH has made visual improvements to many Learn Zone activities to allow the question prompt in these activities to fit on devices with smaller screens. These activities should be now fully functional on these devices.

Enrollments in SAM-Based Programs Impacted by Non-Compliant Licenses
Enrollments in SAM-Based Programs Impacted by Non-Compliant Licenses
In response to COVID-19, HMH extended hosting of perpetual licenses to December 31, 2020. Districts and schools that still have students enrolled in perpetual licenses without an active hosting plan will not be able to enroll new students.
To resolve this issue, unenroll students from these perpetual licenses. Click here for instructions.

MATH INVENTORY STUDENT TEST PRINTOUT NO LONGER AVAILABLE JANUARY 1, 2021
Adobe announced in 2017 that it was discontinuing Flash as of January 1, 2021.
The Student Test Printout Report, which relies on the use of Flash, will no longer be available as of January 1, 2021.

iRead Update: Flash-Based Components
iRead Update: Flash-Based Components
Adobe announced in 2017 that it was discontinuing Flash as of January 1, 2021. As a result, HMH has been working on converting its programs to HTML5 and phasing out Flash on its products.
Because iRead’s Interactive Whiteboard Tools use Flash technology, HMH will be removing this function from the iRead SAM Central platform effective December 31, 2020. Additionally, Direct Instruction and Articulation videos are in the process of being converted out of Flash and may not function until this is completed. Instructional videos will still be available on the platform after this date.

FINAL REMINDER: HMH Programs and Components Using Flash Will No Longer Be Operable As Of December 21, 2020
Adobe announced in 2017 that it was discontinuing Flash as of January 1, 2021. As we have previously announced, older HMH programs and components of programs that were built using Flash will no longer operate and are being retired as of December 21, 2020. These programs include: READ 180 Next Generation, FASTT Math Next Generation, READ 180 Enterprise Edition, System 44 Enterprise Edition, FASTT Math Enterprise Edition, Fraction Nation, Expert 21, Common Core Code X, rSkills College & Career, and rSkills Tests.
Student data you would like to retain from these programs must be exported by December 21, 2020.

Important Notice to MATH 180, Math Inventory, and ProgressSpace Users Regarding Flash Usage and Support
Adobe announced in 2017 that it was discontinuing Flash as of January 1, 2021. As a result, HMH has been working on converting its programs to HTML5 and phasing out Flash on its products.
HMH is planning to relaunch MATH 180 using HTML5 on November 23, 2020. Users do not have to take any action as a result of this change; however, it may result in changes to the user interface and some functionality.
The Math Inventory Student Test Printout, which relies on the use of Flash, will no longer be available as of January 1, 2021.
HMH is planning to relaunch ProgressSpace using HTML5 by December 31, 2020. This may result in changes to the user interface and some functionality.

Bookflix and Other Components No Longer Available on Big Day for PreK Website
Adobe announced in 2017 that it was discontinuing Flash as of January 1, 2021.
At the beginning of October, HMH’s Big Day for PreK digital hosting partner ended support for Flash and removed its Flash components. As a result, Bookflix®, Clifford Games, Interactive Wall Charts and the Online Professional Development Training Zone components are no longer available on the Big Day for PreK website.

Fillable PDF support resources for READ 180 and System 44 are now available in the Distance Learning collection in the Teacher Central Resources tab. These include student logs and tracking charts, resources to support comprehension in READ 180 Workshops, and S.M.A.R.T. lesson practice pages and instructional slides to teach each lesson for System 44 students. Additional resources to follow.
