Daniel Allen has been a director since December 2016. Dan Allen retired from Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C, a New York-based registered investment adviser, as of February 2020 where he was the President and a Senior Portfolio Manager. Mr. Allen’s responsibilities included partnering with the firm’s CEO to oversee portfolio management, trading and risk management and investment decisions. Prior to joining Anchorage in 2008, Mr. Allen spent the previous six years with Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for North American Credit Trading with a primary focus on leveraged bank loans, high yield bonds and distressed securities. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Allen was a Leveraged Loan Trader at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Allen holds an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. from Skidmore College. Today, Mr. Allen serves as the chairman of the Board of The Palmetto Bluff Company and is on the Board of Trustees of Skidmore College, where he chairs the Investment Committee on behalf of Skidmore’s endowment. Mr. Allen is also a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Fixed Income Market Structure Advisory Committee (FIMSAC). Mr. Allen’s qualifications to serve on the Board include extensive experience in financial services as a trader and portfolio manager and his extensive knowledge of the capital markets and the financial services industry.
