Resources for Differentiated Instruction & Problem Solving (RDI)

The RDI guide provides teachers with the support needed to remediate and accelerate students' learning in developing conceptual understanding, reasoning, and problem solving skills. With the help of the Groupinator™, the RDI delivers differentiated instruction to target the needs of students ready for a challenge (Stretch Lessons) and students who need more support (Boost Lessons).

As you flip through the RDI guide, look for:

  • Instruction and problems that teach key concepts through an alternate lens of problem solving and algebraic thinking
  • Strategy Banks that identify the problem solving strategy to model for students
  • Stretch Lessons that provide more exposure to Next Generation Assessment items and a range of nonroutine problems
  • Boost Lessons that use clear explanations and explicit questions to check for understanding as the lesson progresses
