Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Announces Free Family Event to Celebrate Launch of Curious World; With Special Guests Molly Sims, Curious George, and The Man with the Yellow Hat

The Real Curious WorldNEW YORK — Global learning company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) announced today an interactive family-friendly event to celebrate the launch of Curious World™with special guest Molly Sims, at The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City, on Saturday, Nov. 21 from noon – 4pm E.T.

The event will bring to life content and activities from HMH’s new early learning app for iPad® and iPhone®, Curious World, for kids ages 3 – 7. Early learners and their families will have the opportunity to try a selection of Curious World’s expansive collection of games, videos and eBooks, take photos with Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat, and enjoy interactive activities like soccer mini-golf, skyscraper building, and story time.

Curious World, available initially as an app for iPad® and iPhone®, is a subscription-based experience, featuring a curated collection of playful learning content, as well as a parent dashboard and tips for offline learning activities. Curious World contains over 500 unique games, videos and books, with new content added to the service on a weekly basis. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store℠ with a limited sample of content and basic features. Access to the full customized content experience is available on a subscription basis at $7.99 per month or $64.99 per year.
