This nationally standardized, norm-referenced battery identifies children who are at risk for or are experiencing auditory processing difficulties. It assesses a hierarchy of auditory skills that are basic to processing spoken language. The APAT tells you how well the brain "translates" what is heard into meaningful units of information.
