The Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Test (ADHDT) is an effective instrument for identifying and evaluating attention-deficit disorders in persons ages 3 to 22. Based on the diagnostic criteria for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder of the DSM-IV, ADHDT contains 36 items that describe characteristic behaviors of persons with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. These items comprise three subtests representing the core symptoms necessary for the diagnosis of ADHD: hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention.
The ADHDT provides flexible use in schools or clinics, and is for screening or evaluating treatment strategies.
