Boston -- Oct 4th, 2010 -- Global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today announced the opening of its office in Seoul, South Korea which will serve as a hub for the Company’s operations in the Asia/Pacific education and learning markets. The expansion is the latest demonstration of the Company’s commitment to the region where it already has distributors in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and Indonesia in addition to Korea.

The Company is also actively seeking partners to adapt HMH content for the Korean market on multiple platforms including, books, smart phones, iPhone, iPad, internet, IPTV and multimedia devices.HMH operates in more than 120 countries globally, and maintains an unparalleled connection to the pulse of the education industry around the world.
