Education leader selected by ictQATAR to join Digital Content Incubation Center

Doha, Qatar -- May 25th, 2011 -- Global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) has announced the opening of its premises in Doha, Qatar. The office, which will enhance HMH′s already broad outreach to the Gulf region, will be housed within the Digital Content Incubation Center, created by Qatar's Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR).

As a world leader in the development of localized digital education content, HMH has been selected by ictQATAR to become an anchor tenant in the Center, alongside other leading technology companies, including IBM and SAP. The expansion is the latest demonstration of the Company′s commitment to delivering world–class learning solutions across the globe.

The Digital Content Incubation Center will be a collaborative environment aimed at helping entrepreneurs and start up companies leverage digital content opportunities in Qatar and the Arab region. The Center will provide access to innovative digital platforms, international partners, business development services, coaching and mentorship.
