Boston -- Dec 16th, 2010 -- Global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today announced an expansion to the existing exclusive partnership and strategic alliance with All Prints, the main supplier of educational materials in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar.

Two years ago, HMH and All Prints entered into an agreement for the UAE territory. This go-to-market model has proven to be a success, delivering a better and total customer experience for teachers, administrators, parents, and students. The entire educational eco-system can now focus more on enhanced education programmes with the knowledge that their needs are being delivered and supported by HMH and All Prints.

This significant partnership, which comes into effect on January 1, 2011, will introduce HMH’s award-winning product portfolio to hundreds of schools in Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. The portfolio will include all of HMH’s K–12 print products and includes the new Science Fusion, Go Math! and Journeys programmes, built using proven pedagogy and methodology as endorsed by major new adoptions in the domestic U.S. market.

“As the world’s largest provider of educational products and solutions for pre-K–12 learning, we are delighted to extend our already strong relationship with All Prints at such an exciting time for education in the Middle East. With an increasing emphasis placed on the importance of K–12 education across the region, the blend of All Prints’ thorough understanding of local market needs and HMH’s world-class product is a perfect match,” said Andres Rodriguez, Vice-President, Global Sales, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. “This partnership has the potential to truly transform the quality of teaching and learning in classrooms throughout the region.”

This enhanced three-year partnership is a step toward providing a more comprehensive service for educational providers in the Middle East. HMH and All Prints can now match proven educational solutions to individual market requirements in Qatar, UAE and Kuwait.

All Prints Vice-President, Nasouh Al Ameen, commented: “All Prints is proud to enter into this new partnership with HMH. It builds on All Prints’ experience and reputation as the leading distributor and publisher in the Arab world for the past four decades, and on a successful business partnership with HMH for over 15 years. Combining the expertise and knowledge of All Prints with the world class educational products of HMH ensures that students and teachers will have access to the best in class educational materials published by a global educational leader.
