Based in the Company’s Dublin office, Conor will be responsible for all financial and operational aspects of HMH’s International business (outside the US), focusing on growth across emerging markets such as the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America. HMH’s educational products and solutions are already used by 57 million students in more than 120 countries globally, and the Company is continuing to break into new markets. In recent months, the International business has opened a new Asia-Pacific hub in Seoul, South Korea and secured multi-million-dollar expansion deals in a number of countries in the Middle East region."With 13 years corporate finance, accountancy and investment experience, Conor possesses the expertise and leadership skills necessary to assist the business in achieving its global growth strategy. As part of the senior management team, Conor will provide financial, operational and strategic direction as we expand the International business," said Terry Nealon, Executive Vice President, HMH.Michael Muldowney, Chief Financial Officer, HMH, added: "Conor will play a key role in implementing HMH’s ambitious international growth plans as we rapidly expand our services, technology and curricula in markets all over the world."Conor is a chartered accountant and qualified tax professional, having previously worked in KPMG. He also holds a Masters of Accounting from Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin and a B-Commerce Degree from University College Dublin. Conor was recently appointed to the IRFU’s Professional Game Board to oversee the commercial development of rugby in Connacht.
