The Opportunity

Duties & Responsibilities

Establish HMH UX Strategy

* Set up and manage the User Experience function for HMH Digital Content Development (DCD) group.
* Define UX strategy for HMH product development that supports creating best-in-class learning products through deep insight into users’ needs and expectations.
* Develop approach to build awareness and understanding of UX across the organization to help influence decision-making and ensure a user-centric focus is achieved and maintained.
* Create and maintain best practice policies and procedures for UX, usability and accessibility that are based on user-centered principles, are easy to understand, and take into account both corporate goals and user expectations/requirements.
* Articulate usability strategy for HMH content development, and continuously refine and improve it through metrics and validation as market and user needs evolve.
* Always champion the voice of our users (teachers, administrators, parents and students) in your role as Director, User Experience.

Integrate UX into HMH Processes and Culture

* Partner with design-related functional leads to define comprehensive UX and design standards that can be efficiently implemented across all HMH products.
* Design and implement accessibility guidelines that are in line with users’ needs and legal requirements.
* Manage the UX process to ensure that prototypes and products in development are appropriately tested for usability, engagement, and achievement of objectives.
* Research leading UX and usability companies to identify candidates that HMH can engage with to provide objective usability evaluation.
* Promote best-in-class UX standards and practices to functional teams in HMH.
* Develop relationships with our Marketing and Sales teams so that project teams can engage with our customers to get informal UX inputs in product design.

Skills and Experience: Essential

Duties & Responsibilities:
- The main output of a TPD Solutions Architect is to work with product development project teams to identify and recommend:

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, the right candidate will assist in leading and executing discrete financial and operational audits, provide ad hoc internal controls expertise to process owners and draft internal audit reports for issuance by the VP - Internal Audit. The senior internal auditor should have the ability to participate in the audit planning process, workpaper preparation and review of junior staff employees work, and discussion of audit findings with the process owner auditee. The Opportunity

The LD Manager will work with the LD Operations Manager to allocate their LD Lead resources and they will contribute to ongoing efforts to reduce time, effort, and cost associated with learning design on projects-without impacting on product quality. This senior role will be responsible for supporting competitive and industry benchmarking analytics, direct cost analysis related to large strategic accounts, as well as other ad hoc analysis.
